Frequently Asked Questions

I'm not a runner. Can I still coach?

Yes!

Can I choose the site where I coach?

Coaches may indicate a preference for the site at which they would like to coach. If coaches do not have a preference, we will assign them to a location in need of volunteers.

I'm a track coach so this should be an easy fit, right?

Maybe. We're not a track-prep program. We use running as a means to help our girls learn about themselves, set goals and celebrate their accomplishments no matter what their pace is. We also follow a scripted curriculum and set of training plans. Give us a call to see if this is the right fit for you.

Will I be reimbursed for coaching expenses?

Each team receives a site allowance. Coaches must submit all receipts related to program expenses at the end of the season and will be reimbursed for an amount not to exceed the site allowance.
